Coventry Health Care 2nd-qtr profit falls 45 percent as costs on Medicare Advantage plans rise

BETHESDA, Md. – Health insurer Coventry health care Inc. said Friday its second-quarter profit fell 45 percent as medical costs climbed, particularly in Medicare Advantage plans.
