Former HealthEssentials manager indicted for fraud
A federal grand jury has indicted the former business manager of bankrupt Louisville company HealthEssentials Solutions for health-care fraud. The U.S. Attorney’s office said the indictment accuses Karen Stone, 49, of causing the company to submit false billings to Medicare between 2001 and 2004.
