Hospital company to pay in Medicare allegations

Main Line Hospitals Inc. has agreed to pay the federal government $1.03 million to resolve allegations that it submitted improper claims to the Medicare program between Jan. 1, 2004, and Feb. 28, 2011, for evaluation and management services that were not allowable for payment, said the U.S. Attorney's Office in Harrisburg.
