Three Louisville health-care firms were among the area’s top-performing stocks in 2007, despite concerns about cutbacks in Medicare reimbursements. Shares of health insurer Humana, service provider ResCare and long-term-care operator Kindred Healthcare each registered a gain of at least 28 percent since the end of 2006.
