Medicare blues

“The insurance companies spent all this money on advertising and didn’t spend enough on people to take care of the problems. Not only do I have to wait a long time to talk to someone, I have to find somebody who actually knows what they’re talking about.”
“Our pharmacy doesn’t open until 9 a.m., but I’ve been coming in at 7 a.m. because it gives me two extra hours to talk with the insurance companies,” he said. “I’m also staying late at night.”
“It was written by people who had no idea how this process should work and as a result, it is not working.”

“I don’t hold out any hope they can do us any good,” he said. “When is the last time anyone had a victory over an insurance company. They’re just too big and powerful.”
“Pharmacists provide a lot of free health care. You can ask your pharmacist for free advice that a doctor would charge for. Pharmacists have been so focused on health care that perhaps we haven’t focused on business as much as we should.”
“We couldn’t see meeting the obligations to the bank and our employees over the next three years. It’s pretty sad for a small town to lose a million dollar store.”.
